I don't photograph many weddings, but when Jenny and Chad asked me I knew that I would enjoy photographing their wedding. They are sweet, relaxed and easy going. I have known Jenny since she was a baby. I actually used to babysit her (I think she was one of my first babysitting jobs, which makes me feel kind of old LOL).
Chad and Jenny's wedding day began with beautiful weather for an outdoor wedding. The sun was shining with a cool breeze and everyone looked gorgeous.
Jenny chose the same wedding date as her grandparents who passed away. She had pictures of them placed on her bouquet to represent and remember them.
The Ceremony was beautiful and perfectly suited to them. It was funny and yet sentimental, laughter and tears mixed. They even chose to wash each others feet as a symbol and reminder that they want to serve one another in their marriage.
The bridal definitely had a blast celebrating Jenny and Chad. Having a great group of friends to cheer you on is a gift and Jenny and Chad definitely had a supportive group of friends surrounding them on their day.
The reception was decorated beautifully and the food delicious. There were many great stories told and toasts made to the bride and groom. But I think the pictures that stuck out to me the most were of the father/daughter dance. The father dancing with his daughter after he gives her away, the emotion in the pictures are what makes it special. In this case, it was lots of laughter and joy :)
Thank you Chad and Jenny for allowing me to capture your special day. Jenny you made a gorgeous and stunning bride and I wish you both the best.
